Lacazette discusses the changes from Ligue 1

Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette appears to have settled in extremely well since his move from Lyon.

The switch from Ligue 1 to the Premier League has been a difficult one for several players over the years, and Lacazette has been discussing the differences between the two leagues.

As quoted by Goal, the France international spoke of how there is a clear physical difference between the two, and admitted that the pace of the Premier League is a lot faster.

The main difference in the Premier League is that game is a lot more physical. The pace of the game is also very different – I now really understand what it means to play box to box.

Things can move so fast that you don’t have time to catch your breath or think about the next move.

Lacazette has been in good form since securing his big move in the summer. He joined for a fee in excess of £50 million, a club-record deal for the Gunners, and has so far hit the ground running.

I will try my level best to achieve that but there is a big difference in that I was played in virtually every match at Lyon. Here the manager likes to rotate players to keep them fresh for the Premier League.

I will try my best to score that many goals but this is my first season so it’s all quite new.

He has established himself as Arsene Wenger’s first choice striker and has already netted four Premier League goals, making him Arsenal’s top scorer at this stage of the season.

I want to settle in and repay the confidence that’s been shown in me.

Lacazette will hope to kick on with the Gunners after the international break.
