It has come to light in recent times that Inter Milan are interested in signing Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil.
The German international currently has a contract until the end of the season, and will be available on a free transfer if he allows it to expire – a situation which appears to be most likely at this stage.
However, as quoted by Goal, Inter Milan’s sporting director Piero Ausilio believes that Arsenal will not be willing to offload the former Real Madrid midfielder when the transfer window re-opens in January.

We are studying our squad, we have scouts everywhere and they look at every kind of player. I don’t think players like him [Ozil] will be leaving in January.
The 28-year-old will be able to hold discussions regarding his future with other clubs when January does come around, and Inter are sure to be one club interested in persuading Ozil to join them.
Ozil, who is currently sidelined through injury, remains a key player for Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, but it looks as though he and Alexis Sanchez will be leaving at the end of the campaign.
