Arsenal ran out victorious on Sunday afternoon as they cast aside Brighton in a 2-0 win.
The Gunners were looking to secure yet another win in front of the Emirates crowd following their relatively comfortable win over West Brom on Monday evening.
Arsenal were on top in large parts of the match and took the lead, with Nacho Monreal stabbing home only his second Premier League goal, making it 1-0 to the hosts.
Arsene Wenger’s men then extended their advantage through Alex Iwobi, who finished off a wonderful, flowing move to double the lead.
Despite a flurry of late pressure from the Seagulls, Arsenal were worthy winners and took all three points on the day.
