Real Madrid are planning a January move for Arsenal target, Julian Draxler from Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain, according to reports in the Daily Mirror.
With Paris Saint-Germain signing Neymar and Kylian Mbappe in the summer, the chances of Draxler leaving the French capital in January are high, with the European Champions now also thought to be keen on joining the race for the German international’s signature.
Draxler, 24, has been a long-term target for Arsene Wenger and the Gunners were close to pushing through a deal in the final days of the summer transfer window, only for the deal to fall through after the two clubs couldn’t agree a fee.
The German playmaker is thought to be becoming increasingly frustrated over his game time in Paris and may consider a move to London over Madrid in January if Wenger can guarantee him regular first-team football in the Premier League.
