Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil is subject of much transfer speculation at the moment, as his contract with the north London club is due to expire come the end of the current season.
The latest suggestion surrounding the midfielder is that Turkish Super Lig side Fenerbahce are considering a move for him, according to Turkish news outlet Sporx (via Talksport).

The report states that the Turkish side will make the audacious move to sign the attacking midfielder if Ali Koc wins the presidency at Istanbul-based club.
Ozil was born in Gelsenkirchen, Germany and is one of Die Mannschaft’s key players, having won the World Cup with them in 2014; but he has Turkish heritage and could have chosen to represent their national team instead.

He has in the past been quoted as saying he is a Fenerbahce fan, which will give the Super Lig side hope that Ozil would like to play for them, but at 28 years old he is coming into his prime years as a footballer so may be keen to play for a club more likely to win the Champions League with his help — both Barcelona and Manchester United are rumoured to also be interested in signing the World Cup winner.
Ozil signed for Arsenal from Real Madrid in 2013 and has since made 166 appearances for the Gunners, scoring 32 goals.
