After a weekend where all of their rivals won their own matches, Monday night’s game against West Brom seemed to take on extra significance and the Gunners took all three points with a 2-0 victory thanks to a brace from Alexandre Lacazette.
The Frenchman scored either side of half-time, once from the spot but that doesn’t tell the whole story.
West Brom had plenty of chances and will be furious at Bobby Madley for not awarding a penalty but in the end, all that matters is the three points.
