Arsene Wenger has revealed when Danny Welbeck should return from his recent groin injury.

The 26 year old striker, who came through Manchester United’s academy in 2008 before signing for Arsenal in 2014, has played 490 minutes for the Gunners this season and been an important player thus far.
He starred in his side’s 3-0 win over Bournemouth two weeks ago, scoring twice and assisting the other goal as Wenger’s men made light work of the Cherries.

The Gunners’ game against Watford in which Wenger expects Welbeck to return from injury will take place at Vicarage Road on Saturday 14th October — the 17:30 kick-off that day.
That game against the Hornets will be followed by a Europa League away tie against Red Star Belgrade of Serbia; so Welbeck’s return in that period will be much appreciated by his manager as he will look to rotate his team for the European fixture.
Arsenal’s next game is against West Bromwich Albion on Monday Night Football, followed by an away game against BATE Borisov in the group stages of the Europa League.
