# Our man of the match: Chelsea (A)

Arsenal could only take a point away from Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

The visitors impressed throughout, and put in a hugely resilient display. They failed to make their chances count but looked the better team in large parts of the encounter.

Arsenal will feel as though they should have secured a win on Sunday but are sure to take positives from the match, with Arsene Wenger hoping his side can kick on in the coming weeks to overcome a somewhat sketchy start to the Premier League season.

There were several positive performances from the Gunners in the draw, but our man of the match was Aaron Ramsey.

The Wales international was industrious throughout the course of the match, and was a huge help for his side when turning defence into attack. His work rate and ability to make intelligent runs between the lines offered Arsenal an outlet.

He was hugely unlucky to hit the post after a delicately executed run, and will be happy with his afternoon’s efforts.
