Arsenal striker Lucas Perez has returned to former club Deportivo on loan, reports the Evening Standard.
The Spaniard returns to his native country after a undesirable spell in England, with Deportivo given the option to buy him permanently at the end of the loan spell.
Perez joined Arsenal from Deportivo for £17 million last summer, and is now heading back to his old club as he looks to revive his career.

The 28-year-old has fallen down the pecking order at the Emirates, following the arrival of record signing Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon, with Danny Welbeck and Olivier Giroud already in the frame.
The Gunners had previously rejected several loan bids for Perez, including from the likes of Everton and Newcastle, after the striker reiterated his desire to return to La Liga.
So now Perez returns to Deportivo, who can buy him permanently at the end of the deal, but are under no obligation to do so.
