It’s deadline day and it seems as though there could be another exit on the cards following Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s switch to Merseyside earlier this afternoon.
According to Sky Sports News via their sources, Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City have submitted a second bid for Alexis Sanchez coming in at £55m + £5m add-ons.

It’s clear that the Chilean international is looking for a quick exit from the Emirates, following the disapproval on his face when the Gunners fell to defeat at Liverpool last week, but with the lack of incomings and no Champions League football this season, it’s no wonder as to why players are heading for other Clubs, notably in England, that are now at sides competing for domestic/European silverware this campaign.
It had been earlier reported that the bid from the Manchester side was a cash and player deal, but the latest is all cash.
Time will tell if the Gunners are willing to accept the fee or keep the player and risk losing him for nothing next summer.
