The club have confirmed that the winger has returned to Spain after previously playing for Betis.
Campbell was on loan to Betis in the 2012/13 season, where he impressed, and is now set for his second stint at the club.
Arsenal were willing to let Campbell go as he was not part of Arsene Wenger’s plans for the season, having failed to make an impact in pre-season.
The winger spent last season on loan to Sporting Lisbon in Portugal, where he also failed to impress.
He will now look to get his career back on track in Spain before starting again with Arsenal next summer.
The winger has played 40 games for Arsenal’s first team since breaking through into the side, scoring four goals.
He could be the last player to leave Arsenal this summer, with the deadline in little over an hour.
