Arsenal are delighted with their decision to keep hold of Alexis Sanchez this summer.
According to Sky Sports, Arsenal are pleased with how they have handled this summer and are happy that they have come through the window without selling Sanchez.
Despite there still being a few hours left in the window, Sanchez is set to stay at Arsenal and help the Gunners return to the Champions League.
The Chilean was reportedly set for a £60m move to Manchester City earlier today but Arsenal pulled the plug after failing to agree a deal to sign Thomas Lemar from AS Monaco.
The report claims that Arsenal are pleased with their decision to retain Sanchez, though the star forward still has one year left on his contract.
Sanchez is yet to commit his long-term future to the club, although he may change his mind over the course of the season if Arsenal can mount a title challenge.
