Arsenal are reportedly considering making a move for Everton outcast Ross Barkley, according to The Mirror.
The 23-year-old recently rejected a new deal at Goodison Park, and manager Ronald Koeman has said he will try and offload the midfielder.
Tottenham and Chelsea have previously been linked with a move for Barkley, and now Arsenal have emerged as contenders for his signature.
With Gunners star Alexis Sanchez still in a limbo over his future, Arsene Wenger is refusing to sell the Chilean until a replacement is found, and Barkley could offer just that.

Manchester City are reportedly going to return to Arsenal with a bid in the region of £70m for Sanchez, with the North London side also on the verge of selling Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to Liverpool.
Barkley, who is yet to make a Premier League appearance this season, will be sold at a high price if he is to leave Merseyside, but Arsene Wenger will know that money needs to be spent if his side’s fortunes this campaign are to improve.
