According to the Mirror, Arsenal will allow Liverpool to try and sign Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain as the deadline for the transfer window approaches.
Oxlade-Chamberlain has a year left on his current deal at Arsenal and has recently rejected a new contract at the club worth £180k per week amid interest from Chelsea and Liverpool.
However, the player also rejected Chelsea after Arsenal accepted a bid for him as he wants to play in central midfield, which Chelsea can’t offer and Liverpool reportedly will.
With the likes of Emre Can, Georginio Wijnaldum, Jordan Henderson, James Milner and Adam Lallana playing in that centre midfield role then The Reds may not be able to offer that.

Arsenal are prepared to let their guard down with Oxlade-Chamberlain and are ready to sell him as soon as possible, before his contract runs out next year and he will then leave on a free transfer.
