Arsenal may ask Manchester City for Sergio Aguero rather than Raheem Sterling in a swap deal for want-away forward Alexis Sanchez, according to Kaveh Solhekol of Sky Sports.
News emerged today that Manchester City are prepared to offer Raheem Sterling plus cash in exchange for Sanchez, however, this report claims that Arsenal may wish for Aguero to be exchanged instead.
There has been speculation that Sanchez wishes to leave The Gunners throughout the summer, and City’s bid could bring a conclusion to this transfer saga.

Sanchez signed for Arsenal from Barcelona in 2014 for a fee of just over £30m. Since then he has made 145 appearances for the north London side, and has scored 72 times, setting up a further 42 for his team mates.
The 28-year-old has also excelled on the international stage with Chile. He has 115 caps for his country, and has scored 38 international goals.
Arsenal currently sit 16th after three games, and will face Bournemouth after the international break, time will tell if Sanchez is part of the squad for that game.
