Arsenal succumbed to yet another embarrassing defeat at the hands of a top Premier League side yesterday, as they lost 4-0 to Liverpool.
Roberto Firmino nodded the Reds ahead, before Sadio Mane finished off an exciting, counter-attacking move from the hosts, helping them to a two-goal lead before half-time.
It was more of the same in the second half, too. Mohamed Salah raced clear to fire the Reds 3-0 ahead, before Daniel Sturridge directed a header beyond Petr Cech to seal the match at 4-0.
It was a total mess at Anfield for Arsenal, and it’s provided the fans plenty of food for thought.
