According to the Evening Standard, Watford are going back in for Arsenal’s Kieran Gibbs, with The Gunners set to drop their £15m asking price.
Gibbs’ future at The Emirates is not looking promising from his point of view. Being listed for transfer by Arsene Wenger and another left-back in Sead Kolasinac coming to Arsenal, Gibbs will need a move away to revitalise his career.
Many Premier League clubs were interested in Gibbs’ services this summer, including Watford, but all of them dropped their interest in the Englishman as the £15m asking price from Arsenal was deemed too much.
Watford then tried to sign George Friend from Middlesbrough, but failed.

It has now been reported that Arsenal are prepared to drop their asking price to £7m, as they look to move on many fringe players from the squad, like Lucas Perez.
Gibbs would rather stay in England but his representatives did hold talks with Galatasaray and a German club who remained unknown.
