According to the Mirror, Inter Milan are set to make a shock bid for Arsenal’s Shkodran Mustafi after the German has not impressed since joining the club.
Mustafi only joined Arsenal last year from Valencia for £35m, signing a deal at the club until 2021, but, after poor performances for The Gunners and failing to settle in during his first season in English football, his future at the club could be in doubt.
Italian giants, Inter Milan, wants to bring in the German defender to the San Siro this summer on a loan deal, with a view to buy worth £20m, which would be a huge loss in terms of the money spent on the player.
Arsenal have already sold a centre back this summer having allowed Gabriel to join Mustafi’s former side, Valencia.

Inter aren’t giving up on their pursuit of the defender, meaning fellow Serie A title rivals, Juventus, looking to hijack Inter’s move for the German, as they look to replace Leonardo Bonucci, who left to join another Serie A side, AC Milan earlier this transfer window.
