The transfer saga surrounding Lucas Perez looks to be finally coming to its conclusion, with Deportivo poised to complete a loan move for the forward.
According to a report from the Mirror, the experienced striker is set to leave Arsenal on a temporary basis to return to Deportivo for the season ahead. However, if the La Liga outfit are keen to keep Perez for beyond the ongoing season, they will have the option to make the deal permanent for £10m.

Perez has been linked with a plethora of clubs this summer, with Newcastle’s interest being known. However, Deportivo appears to have been the most attractive destination for the 28-year-old, who made just two Premier League starts last season.
Arsenal signed Perez from Deportivo for a fee of £17m last summer, and it looks as though they are finally set to cut their losses on the Spaniard, who is primed to return back to his old stomping ground.
