Inter interested in Mustafi

Inter Milan are interested in a move for Arsenal defender Shkodran Mustafi, according to Sky Sports journalist Kaveh Solhekol.

Solhekol says that Inter are in the market for a central defender and have targeted Mustafi as an option.

However, Arsenal are unwilling to sell the German at any cost. This means that he is not a viable target for Inter.

Mustafi has missed the start to the season for Arsenal with injury but is set to return against Stoke City this weekend.

The German international played 37 games for the club in all competitions last season, scoring twice.

This included 26 appearances in the Premier League, although he was unable to help Arsenal secure a Champions League place.

Arsenal defender Gabriel is on the verge of a move to Spain. He is set to complete a £10m switch to Valencia.
