2003/04 was a record breaking season for Arsenal as they became the first side to go the entirety of a Premier League campaign unbeaten.
They ended the campaign with a total of 26 wins, 12 draws and zero losses.
In actual fact, there has only ever been one other top flight English side to equal this and that was Preston North End in 1888/89. However, they only played 22 games.
The Gunners’ unbeaten run continued into the following season but eventually came to an end at the hands of Manchester United in a very controversial game. The run totalled 49 games spanning from May 2003 to October 2004.
As you would expect, this was clearly a highlight in many of their careers, here I take a look at what happened next for the Invincibles thirteen years on from the extraordinary achievement.
