Newcastle have reportedly made a fresh approach to land Arsenal duo Lucas Perez and Jack Wilshere this summer.
According to a report from the Mirror today, the Magpies are keen to bolster their midfield options with the addition of Wilshere, who has fallen out of favour at Arsenal.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger clearly favours other options ahead of him and after suffering a fractured leg while on loan at Bournemouth last season, his hopes of establishing himself at the Emirates Stadium took yet another blow.

Perez, on the other hand, has been linked with a move to St James’ Park for a short while now. Rafa Benitez has already admitted to being keen on bringing the experienced Spaniard to his club in the near future, with his tenure at Arsenal set to be cut short.
It’s been previously claimed that the Gunners will demand £13.4m, which could be affordable for Newcastle. However the Mirror claim that Arsenal will demand £20m if Wilshere is to be sold permanently this summer.
