According to the Evening Standard, Jack Wilshere is ready to play for Arsenal’s Under-23s in an attempt to save his career at the Emirates Stadium.
Wilshere has expressed his desire to stay at the club this summer and fight for a place in the Arsenal team, despite interest from Sampdoria and West Ham, who’d both like to take the player on loan.
The midfielder spent last season on loan at the Vitality Stadium with Bournemouth, as he went in the search of regular game time away from the Emirates.
However, his season was cut short in April against Arsenal rivals Tottenham where he broke his leg at White Hart Lane.

The Arsenal Under 23 side kick off their season against Derby on Monday and Wilshere is very likely to feature at St. George’s Park but if he doesn’t feature then he could play against Manchester City a couple of weeks later.
