PSG prepared to bid £80m for Alexis Sanchez
According to the Mirror, Paris Saint-Germain are preparing a bid worth £80 million to try and take Alexis Sanchez away from Arsenal.
Sanchez’s future at Arsenal has been in question this summer with the player wanting Champions League football, something Arsenal can’t offer for at least a year after finishing outside of the top four in the last campaign.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has remained adamant that the Chilean will stay this summer but he may want to cash in on him, considering the player only has a year left on his current deal which means he can leave on a free transfer if a new contract isn’t agreed.
With the recent arrivals of Alexandre Lacazette and Sead Kolasinac, as well as a good pre-season, which included winning the Community Sheild, it is looking like a very promising season for the Gunners.
Manchester City have been one of many clubs such as Bayern Munich, PSG and Chelsea who have been interested in Sanchez this summer, but Wenger is determined not to sell to a domestic rival.
Arsenal have offered £250,000 per week which is way below the reported £400,000 per week offer which PSG could give Sanchez.
