Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny has reaffirmed his commitment to the club, following links with Leicester City.
The Egyptian international has been touted with a move away from the Emirates this summer, but it looks as though he’s poised to remain with the club ahead of what promises to be a pivotal campaign for the Gunners.
Elneny was key as Arsenal swept the Community Shield last weekend against Chelsea, and is likely to be handed many opportunities this season as a result of the club’s involvement in the Europa League. Arsene Wenger will undoubtedly need a big squad, and Elneny will be a good rotational option for the Frenchman.

Leicester were linked with a move for the former FC Basel man, but Elneny, as quoted by the Leicester Mercury, insisted that he was happy at Arsenal.
I am staying at Arsenal this season. I am 100 per cent focused and will give my best to the club day after day.
There has been a lot of criticism recently and I wanted to prove that I deserve to play for a big team like Arsenal. That was my best game for Arsenal.
Elneny has no intentions of leaving the Gunners just yet, and will be keen to make his mark this season.
