# Sanchez reportedly ready to see out his contract

Alexis Sanchez is reportedly ready to play out the final year of his deal at Arsenal before leaving for free next summer.

According to the [Mirror](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/alexis-sanchez-accept-arsenal-stance-10941815), the Chilean international has come to terms with the fact that Arsenal will not let such a key player go in the near future, and will knuckle down until the following summer.

Sanchez has been subject to serious interest from a plethora of clubs, including PSG and Bayern Munich but most strongly from Manchester City. It’s also thought that the former Barcelona star would be keen on reuniting with Pep Guardiola at the Etihad Stadium should the opportunity arise.

Arsenal are claimed to have offered Sanchez a collection of lucrative contract extensions, but the enigmatic forward has his heart set on a new challenge and the forthcoming campaign is looking likely to be his last with the club.

Sanchez is set to get back into the swing of things on Friday, when Arsenal take on Leicester City in the Premier League opener.
