Cohen Bramall to leave Arsenal on loan

Arsenal youngster Cohen Bramall is set to leave the Gunners on loan with a host of Championship clubs interested in signing him.

The Mirror reports that Bramall was due to be the understudy to new signing Sead Kolasinac at the Emirates this season after being heavily involved in the club’s pre-season preparations.

The Gunners did want to move both Nacho Monreal and Kieran Gibbs on this summer.

Gibbs remains likely to leave Arsenal, however, it now appears that Monreal will remain at the club and be the second-choice left-back.

Bramall, who has Championship clubs queuing up for his signature, is also a loan target for Dutch side Sparta Rotterdam, who have emerged as the favourites to sign the player.

Arsene Wenger has identified the Dutch club as the best place for the youngster’s development, with the Frenchman desperate to give the defender some game time this season.
