Arsenal risk losing out on Monaco winger Thomas Lemar as both Barcelona and Manchester City join the race to sign him this summer.
Get French Football, who cite L’Equipe, report that the player has been sounded out by the Spanish giants as a possible replacement for Neymar, who this week joined Paris Saint-Germain in a mouth-watering deal.
Arsenal have been linked with Lemar throughout the summer and had seen him as a direct replacement for Alexis Sanchez, should the Chilean leave the club this summer.
Monaco have been reluctant to sell the player this summer after losing Tiemoue Bakayoko to Chelsea, Bernardo Silva and Benjamin Mendy to Manchester City already.
The French champions also face the possibility of losing youngster Kylian Mbappe before the end of the summer transfer window too.
Lemar was another player who impressed during’s Monaco’s eye-catching Champions League campaign that saw them reach the semi-finals, before falling to a defeat against Juventus.
