Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere is determined to stay at the Emirates and fight for his place in the first-team as interest from Italian club Sampdoria and West Ham increases, according to a report on the Telegraph.
The England midfielder spent last season on loan at fellow Premier League club AFC Bournemouth as he looked for regular game-time rather than sitting on the Arsenal bench.

The 25-year-old returned to full training with the Gunners this week and is keen to leave a positive impression on manager Arsene Wenger before the season starts to convince him to keep him in the squad.
Wilshere’s contract at the Emirates expires next summer but feels that when he is fully fit he can challenge for a starting spot.
The England international is hoping that he can get enough game time at Arsenal to help him push back into the national team before the World Cup in Russia next summer.

There has been plenty of interest in Wilshere from abroad, especially Sampdoria who made an official bid which was rejected by Arsenal.
Arsenal already have plenty of options in midfield and it is yet to be seen if Wenger will keep Wilshere or sell him to make room in his squad for a new signing.
