According to the Evening Standard, Arsenal legend Perry Groves thinks that Gunners youngster Reiss Nelson needs to go out on loan to make sure his talent isn’t wasted in the youth ranks.
Nelson has had a great preseason for Arsenal as they and Nelson took on the likes of Bayern Munich and Benfica, both games where the youngster impressed the Arsenal faithful.
The 17-year-old has already been noted by manager Arsene Wenger as a future player for the first team after great performances in the youth setup last campaign and also in these latest preseason matches.
It’s not just the manager that he’s impressing however, with Portuguese news outlet Mais Futebol saying that he is “one of the next great footballers in the world”.
New signing Alexandre Lacazette has also impressed during preseason, creating huge hype for his debut Premier League season.

Arsenal hero, Groves, said:
He needs to move out on loan and get real game experience, not under-21 games. Jack Wilshere was a great example of this when he went to Bolton.
He went on to say:
I would like to see Reiss go somewhere that plays a similar style to Arsenal, such as MK Dons – who have a nice reputation of playing a good brand of football. He could play as a wide forward in a 4-3-3 or more centrally in a 3-4-2-1, but it needs to be a natural position for him and not a forced one.
