Arsenal have placed a £13.4 million price-tag on Lucas Perez as the Gunners look to offload the out-of-favour player, with fellow Premier League club Newcastle United interested in signing him, according to a report from the Evening Standard.
The 28-year-old’s situation is being monitored by Newcastle manager Rafa Benitez, but they are yet to make a formal approach for the forward.

Perez has been left frustrated with his lack of first-team opportunities and has found himself left on the substitutes bench for the majority of his time at Arsenal.
This has led Perez to seek a move away from the Emirates and has been subject to interest from Spanish La Liga side Deportivo La Coruna, whom he joined the Gunners from last summer.
Arsenal signed Perez for £17 million but he has found it difficult to break into the first team, with Newcastle ready to give him his chance in the Premier League.

The Magpies are, however, keen to make it a loan deal as they are reluctant to meet the £13.4 million valuation that Arsenal have placed on him.
The Spaniard prefers a move back to Spain and Deportivo had a £9 million offer rejected by the Gunners, who are determined to get the sum which they value him at.
Arsene Wenger claims that Perez is still in his plans for the new season but the forward himself wants to move.
