Arsenal are poised to make a move for OCG Nice midfielder Jean Michael Seri, according to the Daily Mail.
The report claims that Arsenal will make an offer for Seri later in the window, once they are able to clear out some deadwood.
The Mail report that a number of players are free to leave Arsenal, though they are having issues with offloading them due to wages.
There are plenty of clubs interested in the players but they are unwilling to take wage cuts to make the move.
Jack Wilshere, Calum Chambers, Carl Jenkinson, David Ospina and Kieran Gibbs are among those who have been told they can move on this summer.
Once Arsenal are able to shift a few of these players on, they will make a move for Seri.
The report also claims that Monaco winger Thomas Lemar is still top of their wishlist, despite the French club insisting he will not be sold.
