Jack Wilshere prefers England stay rather than move abroad

Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere would rather stay in England than move abroad as he looks to fight back into the England squad in time for the 2018 World Cup in Russia, according to a report on ESPN.

Wilshere has been linked with a move from the North London club all summer but the player himself is keen to fight for his place at the club and wants to convince manager Arsene Wenger that he is still good enough.

Wilshere spent last season on loan at fellow Premier League club Bournemouth and gained valuable game time at the Cherries.

However, Arsenal are still keen to sell Wilshere and Turkish club Antalyaspor have confirmed that they have submitted a bid for the Englishman while Italian Serie A club Sampdoria are also interested.

The midfielder only has one year remaining on his contract and they are looking to cash in on him this summer.

But Wilshere personally wants to stay in England due to his young family and also to fight for a place in the England squad.
