According to Wales Online, Swansea and Brighton will battle to sign Arsenal outcast Carl Jenkinson.
Since his injury for West Ham against Manchester City in January 2016, Jenkinson hasn’t shown as much promise as he first offered by struggling to get into the Arsenal team. When he did get a chance to impress, he did not perform.
Swansea are looking to sign Jenkinson to provide healthy competition to Kyle Naughton and Angel Rangel and Brighton are interested in Jenkinson to get Premier League experience as they embark in their first campaign in the English top flight.

Jenkinson is part of a list of players at The Emirates that Arsenal are looking to offload this summer in an attempt to fund transfer moves for stars to help them towards their push for the title.
Newcastle were interested in the Englishman but Rafa Benitez has cooled his interest in the one-capped England international, leaving a two-horse race between Swansea and Brighton.
