Chelsea poised to make bid for Arsenal midfielder

Chelsea are reportedly plotting a move to sign Arsenal midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, and could lodge a bid imminently.

Liverpool have been heavily linked with a move for the ex-Southampton man, with Jurgen Klopp consistently touted as an admirer.

However, Chelsea are looking set to give them a good battle for Oxlade-Chamberlain’s signature, and the report claims that a bid could be lodged within the coming days.

Manchester City have also been linked with a move for Oxlade-Chamberlain, but Chelsea and Liverpool appear to be the most interested parties.

Arsene Wenger will surely be hopeful of the midfielder staying put this summer.
