# Swansea interested in Wilshere deal

Swansea are interested in Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere, according to [the Telegraph.](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2017/07/21/jack-wilshere-wanted-swansea-paul-clement/)

The report claims that Swansea are interested in signing Wilshere but will have to cough up £20m in order to land him.

It is also said that West Ham and Newcastle will rival the Swans for his signature.

Added to that, Arsenal also want to insert a buy-back clause into any potential deal in case his form improves.

Wilshere is currently working his way back to training after suffering a leg fracture in April whilst on loan to [Bournemouth](https://readbournemouth.com/).

The 25-year-old spent last season on loan to [Bournemouth](https://readbournemouth.com/) in the [Premier League](https://readpl.com/).

The midfielder racked up 25 league appearances for the Cherries. This is the most [Premier League](https://readpl.com/) games he has managed in a season since 2010/11.

[Serie A](https://readseriea.com/) side Sampdoria offered Arsenal £6m – with £1.5m in add-ons – for Wilshere earlier this summer, which was rejected by the Gunners.

Arsenal are looking to offload Wilshere this summer, who is not in Arsene Wenger’s plans for next season.
