# Arsenal not expecting transfer request from Sanchez

Arsenal are not expecting Alexis Sanchez to force a move away from the club this summer.

According to [the Telegraph](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2017/07/21/arsenal-do-not-expect-alexis-sanchez-force-move-away-summer/), Arsenal are confident that Sanchez will go about his business in a professional manner regardless of the final decision on his future.

The report claims that Arsenal will only allow Sanchez to leave if an extraordinary offer comes in.

A host of Europe’s elite have been linked with Sanchez, including [Manchester City](https://readmancity.com/), [Chelsea](https://readchelsea.com/), PSG and [Bayern Munich](https://readbundesliga.com/)

However, Arsenal are also unwilling to sell Sanchez to a direct [Premier League](https://readpl.com/) rival.

The Gunners have signalled their intent for the coming season by smashing their transfer record to sign Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon.

The French striker has joined the club in a £52m and scored on his debut against Sydney on last week.

Sanchez is set to return to training with Arsenal at the end of the month following the Confederations Cup.
