According to La Perisien, PSG’s sporting director is in London to finalise the transfer of Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez.
PSG are the most recent club to be linked with the Chilean, with Manchester City, Chelsea and Bayern Munich being touted as possible interested suitors too, but it looks like this saga may end soon.
Arsene Wenger wants Sanchez to stay but he may want to cash in now considering his contract runs out in a year, meaning he could leave on a free transfer.
If they do cash in now, then it could fund their pursuit of Monaco’s Kylian Mbappe or Thomas Lemar, who have both been heavily linked with Arsenal this summer.
Arsenal would love to keep their best player but in a situation where they find themselves needing to sell him, it makes sense to let him to to France rather than letting him join a rival Premier League club.
