Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil is closing in on agreeing a new contract with the club.
According to The Mirror, Arsenal are confident that Ozil will commit his future to the club by signing an extended deal.
Ozil has one year left to run on his current deal, which has had fans nervous about a potential exit from The Emirates for the German.

The attacking midfielder wants to stay at Arsenal and The Mirror claims that has persuaded him to put pen to paper on a contract extension.
Ozil had previously demanded £350k-per-week to extend his deal but Arsenal were unwilling to meet his demands.
Although The Mirror have not named a price, Ozil appears to have lowered his asking price in terms of wages.
Alexis Sanchez also has one year left on his Arsenal contract but his future is far more uncertain than Ozil’s.
Ligue 1 side PSG and Premier League outfit Manchester City are said to be keen.
