AS Monaco have today issued a statement accusing big European clubs of making contact with Kylian Mbappé and his family, without their permission.

Arsenal have been linked with an audacious move for the young Frenchman over the last couple of months, but appear to have cooled their interest.
A host of top clubs across the continent are keen to land the France international, but it appears as though some have taken an illegal approach to their pursuit.

However, thankfully for Arsenal, Sky Sports’ Bryan Swanson reports that this does not include them.

Arsene Wenger is a known admirer of the Monaco striker, who burst onto the scene last season, and although the links with the youngster were ambitious, they appeared genuine.
Monaco are evidently keen to keep hold of their prized asset this summer.
