Arsenal target Sancho yet to sign Manchester City deal

Arsenal target Jadon Sancho is refusing to sign a contract extension with Manchester City.

According to the Independent, Sancho does not see himself being able to break into City’s first team, with Arsenal and Tottenham ready to swoop.

The report claims that Manchester City are fearful of him wanting to depart, with it looking unlikely that he will be given a clear route to the first-team.

This is despite the fact that he is already training with Pep Guardiola’s first-team squad, at the age of 17.

It is said, however, that City are eager to keep him at the club and will fight to retain him, which could make it difficult for Arsenal to secure a deal.

City offered Sancho a three-year deal in March but the midfielder is still stalling on the offer.

Sancho is regarded as one of the best talents of his age group in Europe and would be a top addition to any academy.
