According to the Mail Online, Arsenal youngster Dan Crowley is set for a medical at Willem II as he looks for regular first-team football.
Crowley is set to sign for the Eredivisie club on a three-year-deal after he impressed on loan at another Eredivisie club, Go Ahead Eagles, last campaign despite them getting relegated.
The 19-year-old has a year left on his contract at Arsenal and he wants to move to gain more first-team football to further on his career despite Arsene Wenger being an admirer of Crowley.
The so-called “next Jack Wilshere” joined The Gunners from Aston Villa in 2014 and has had loan spells at Barnsley and Oxford as well as Go Ahead Eagles in an attempt to improve the player.
There was apparent interest from the lower leagues in England for Crowley as well as clubs in Germany and Holland where he looks almost certain to join.
At only 19 years old, Crowley has a lot of potential to be a great player so a move back to the Premier League could surface in a few years if he improves greatly, like Paul Pogba from Manchester United to Juventus then back to Manchester United four years later, however, Crowley will be on a much smaller scale.
