According to Sky Sports, Arsenal are still interested in signing Kylian Mbappe from Monaco, despite already signing fellow countryman Alexandre Lacazette.
Wenger came out in a press conference and said that anybody would be interested in the French youngster and has also admitted that he wants to sign more players this summer.
Arsenal have already signed Lacazette this transfer window and they do still have Olivier Giroud, Danny Welbeck and Lucas Perez, who will probably leave no matter what, but Wenger hasn’t ruled out signing him.
“Nobody can say they are not interested in a player of that calibre because he has such immense quality at 18 years of age. All the clubs are open and interested in him,” Wenger said.
“He’s a player who, when he gets up in the morning, can choose where he wants to go.
“There are not many players with that kind of luck because he’s only 18 years of age and has the whole of Europe rolling out a red carpet for him.”
Liverpool, as well as Arsenal, have been linked with the striker who scored 27 goals for Monaco last season.
PSG are also keeping tabs on the player and are willing to increase his wages from £16,000 per week to £200,000 per week.
