Arsene Wenger has confirmed summer signing Alexandre Lacazette will make his debut on Thursday against Sydney FC.
Lacazette’s completed a £52 million move from Lyon to Arsenal last week and will be given his first outing for Arsenal on Thursday as preparations for the new Premier League season begin.
Arsenal kick off their pre-season tour against Sydney FC on Thursday, followed by one more game in Australia against Sydney Wanderers.
Speaking at a press conference in Sydney, Wenger confirmed his plans to give Lacazette his first minutes in an Arsenal shirt.

“Lacazette will make his debut here, yes,” said Wenger.
“On Thursday night he will certainly play a part in the game and in the other game as well. In the two games he will take part.”
After their two games in Australia, Wenger’s men head to China to take on Bayern Munich and Chelsea respectively.
