Out of favour goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny is closing in on a move to Italian champions Juventus, according to reports in Italy .
Szczęsny’s loan deal with Roma expired at the end of last season and has since returned to Arsenal.
The Pole impressed during his time in Serie A hence why Italy’s most successful club have expressed interest in him.
With the departure of Neto to Valencia, Juve are looking for an understudy to Gianluigi Buffon with Szczesny being the ideal candidate.
It is likely Szczesny will take over the number one spot when the great Italian ‘keeper finally decides to call time on his fantastic career.
Reports state that the Old Lady have already agreed personal terms with Szczesny, however, are still to agree on a fee with Arsenal.
Arsenal have put a £13 million price tag on Szczesny who is not in Arsene Wenger’s plans despite the likely sale of David Ospina and Petr Cech’s inconsistent performances.
