Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud has been the subject of much speculation already this summer, and it looks as though Marseille have stolen a march in the race to sign him.
Everton and West Ham have been credited with strong interest in signing the Frenchman, but Marseille’s desire to bring him back over to his homeland has been well documented for some time now.
According to a report from the Telegraph, the Ligue 1 outfit are growing increasingly confident of signing Giroud in the ongoing transfer window.

It’s stated that they are keen on securing a deal worth almost £25m for the 30-year-old, who looks set to be pushed even further down the pecking order at the Emirates after Alexandre Lacazette’s departure was confirmed.
Giroud put pen to paper on a new contract at Arsenal at the start of the year, but has grown frustrated at the shortage of first-team football.
Lyon are also claimed to be keen on signing the striker.
