Alexis Sanchez’s future at Arsenal has become increasingly uncertain over the recent few weeks, and it looks as though he will demand a huge amount from the club if they are to keep hold of him.
According to a report from the Mirror this evening, Sanchez is ready to seek an astronomical sum of £400,000 per week – a whopping £125,000 more per week than what the club are currently offering to him.
Bayern Munich and Manchester City have been heavily linked in recent times, but the former appear to have pulled out of the race based on Sanchez’s huge wage demands.
Arsenal are determined to keep hold of their star man this summer and are especially keen to fend off Premier League rivals City. However, it’s hugely unlikely that they’ll give in to Sanchez’s demands and make him the club’s highest paid player in its history on such a wage.
Sanchez has just a year left on his deal.
