Arsenal refuse to sell Bellerin ‘under any circumstances’

Despite strong interest from Spanish giants Barcelona, Arsenal have told Hector Bellerin that he will not be sold this summer ‘under any circumstances’, according to the Mirror.

Barcelona have been continuously linked with Bellerin since the departure of Dani Alves in 2015 and have not found an adequate replacement since.

Despite having a mixed season for Arsenal last time out, Bellerin is still on Barcelona’s wish list.

The Spaniard signed a new six-year deal back in November meaning unlike with Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, whose contracts run out at the end of the upcoming season, Bellerin has a long-term contract with the club meaning Arsenal can play hardball when it comes to selling Bellerin.

Arsenal have a history of selling to Barcelona under Wenger with the likes of Thierry Henry, Cesc Fabregas, Alex Song and Alexander Hleb all making the move from North London to Catalonia.
