Manchester City’s interest in Alexis Sanchez has been well documented over the last few months, and Pep Guardiola remains confident of landing the Chilean this summer.
According to a report from the Mirror, City’s confidence in signing Sanchez is growing as the days go by. The versatile forward is currently on international duty with his native Chile but is still in the headlines, with his future uncertain.
It’s claimed that the Sky Blues are ready to launch a deal worth £50 million to sign Sanchez, but Arsenal remain keen to keep hold of the player. They are also adamant that they will not sell to a fellow Premier League rival.
Bayern Munich appear to have ended their interest in signing the former Barcelona man, seemingly leaving him with two options – remaining at Arsenal for another season or looking to seal a switch to City.
Sanchez notched an outstanding total of 30 goals in all competitions last season.
