It seems as if Alexis Sanchez will leave Arsenal, but it won’t be for Bayern Munich.
After reportedly informing the Bundesliga champions that he wishes to be paid an extortionate £420,000-a-week to make the move to Germany, Sanchez is now off Bayern’s radar for the time being.
Carlo Ancelotti will now move onto other targets as he seeks to add a big-name forward to his ranks at the Allianz Arena and L’Equipe report that Bayern are ready to make a move for Atletico Madrid star Yannick Ferreira Carrasco.
Arsenal have also been linked with a move for the Belgian forward as a potential replacement for Sanchez, while both Manchester United and Serie A champions Juventus are said to be interested as well.
Carrasco scored 10 goals for Atletico last season and the La Liga side will look to keep a hold of the versatile attacker after being slapped with a transfer ban which will restrict them from replacing the Belgian should they decide to sell him.
Despite reported interest from Arsenal, Manchester United and Juventus, Bayern are willing to spend up to €50m to bring the winger to the Bundesliga this summer.
